During the next 24 months, the U.S. Coast Guard will commission and welcome six new Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutters to be homeported in Key West.  The first of these cutters, was the USCGC CHARLES DAVID JR, which was commissioned at sunset on Saturday, 16 November 2013 at Coast Guard Sector Key West.  The Navy League Key West Council Commissioning Committee is supporting the commissionings through funding of activities traditionally associated with a commissioning, separate and apart from the U.S. Coast Guard.

Attendance at the commissioning ceremonies will be at no cost to the attendee.  However, due to the limited space available on the pier, attendance will be by U.S. Coast Guard invitation only.  As the Key West Navy League Commissioning Committee is assisting Coast Guard Sector Key West in compiling the invitee list, persons interested in attending may contact the Navy League Key West Council Commissioning Committee at 305.797.0980 or gidget.johns@gmail.com.

This form is to help the Navy League Key West Council Commissioning Committee support the traditional commissioning social activities and gifts.  Please check the level of support you prefer.  You may click the donate button below to donate through PayPal via credit card.
